"Пiнская шляхта" - гэта зборнік паэзіі Вiнцэнта Дунiна-Марцiнвевiча, выдадзены ў 1839 годзе.
In English: "Pinsk Gentry" is a collection of poetry by Vincent Dunin-Marcinkiewicz, published in 1839. In this rich, developed, and profuse collection, the author combines the historical transmission of his family's genealogy and connection (his noble origin) to the memory and folklore of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. The works in "Pinsk Gentry" include the only dramatic poems in Belarusian literature, such as "Ratuma," "The Great Magnate," as well as the cycle "Notes of a Psalms-reader," and various poems known for their marble-like solemnity.
In his collection, Dunin-Marcinkiewicz considers the issue of past governance, struggles, linked to borders, destruction, and resurrection of the city and noble family, as well as the lyrical expression of the rapid passing of life in the whole country. The book of historical poetry "Pinsk Gentry" emerges from the spotlight of attention to the history of his noble clan, but it is expected to gradually uncover a deeper understanding of the former position of our peaceful land through the pace of literary transmission. A wide range of topics and poetic forms are covered in the "Pinsk Gentry" collection.
As a result of this life and lyrical experience, Vincent Dunin-Marcinkiewicz achieves the process of reconstructing his poetic presence on the Belarusian-Castilian axis, in particular, a logical conclusion to the poetic series that evolves after being shaped by Belarusian forms and acquiring Polish-Slavic elements in occasional verses, especially in the anthology "Pinsk Gentry" itself, which marks a very significant series of poetic possibilities.
