Gatsby is a confident and lonely character. He's rich and surrounded by loud parties. At his parties, people come together, most of them people who don't even know Gatsby, they come to enjoy the atmosphere. Gatsby shows generosity by organizing events. He has his own style. He always looks clean and his smile is always confident. Gatsby has tiny hair and smooth, tanned skin. He is said to have been a spy during the war or even to have killed a man. Gatsby's true nature remains a secret. Success can't replace real human relationships. He lives in a world of illusion. His friendship with Daisy is only a spark of happiness. I think Gatsby is a tragic figure of the American dream.
