Exercise 4.1.4
Write an article (130-150 words) about a famous sportsperson.
Title: The Legacy of Muhammad Ali
Muhammad Ali, born Cassius Clay in 1942, was a prominent American boxer and cultural icon. Raised in Louisville, Kentucky, Ali began boxing at age 12 after experiencing juvenile delinquency. His early successes in boxing led him to win a gold medal at the 1960 Rome Olympics, marking the start of an illustrious career.
Ali was known for his lightning-fast footwork and unparalleled skill in the ring. He famously became the first fighter to win the heavyweight title three times, defeating legendary opponents such as Sonny Liston, Joe Frazier, and George Foreman. Beyond his athleticism, Ali was a passionate advocate for civil rights, using his platform to fight for social justice.
I admire Muhammad Ali not only for his achievements as a boxer but also for his courage in standing up for his beliefs and transforming the perception of African Americans in sports and society.
