Once upon a time in a small town, there was a man named Jack. Jack seemed like an ordinary person, but he had a secret. He was a thief! Every night, when the town was asleep, Jack would sneak around, looking for houses to rob. He was clever and always wore a mask to hide his face.
One evening, Jack decided to break into a house on Maple Street. He thought it was empty, but he was wrong. Inside, an old woman named Mrs. Thompson was still awake. She heard a noise and came to check. When she saw Jack, she wasn’t afraid. Instead, she asked him why he was breaking in.
Surprised by her kindness, Jack froze. Mrs. Thompson didn’t call the police; instead, she offered him some tea. They talked for a while, and Jack began to feel ashamed of what he was doing. He realized that stealing was wrong and what he really wanted was to be liked and accepted.
The next day, Jack returned to the houses he had robbed and returned what he had stolen. He even helped the townsfolk with chores. Slowly, he became a part of the community. Jack learned that being good was much better than being a criminal. From that day on, he vowed to start a new life.
