"Frankenstein," written by Mary Shelley, narrated the tragic tale of Victor Frankenstein, a young scientist who became obsessed with the idea of creating life. In his quest for knowledge, he assembled a creature from discarded body parts and successfully animated it. However, horrified by his own creation, Victor abandoned the creature, which led to its profound loneliness and despair.

The creature sought companionship and acceptance but faced relentless rejection due to its grotesque appearance. In its anguish, it turned to vengeance, targeting Victor's loved ones. The creature killed Victor's younger brother, William, and framed their family friend, Justine, for the murder. Heartbroken and consumed by guilt, Victor realized that his ambition had unleashed a monster upon the world.

As the story progressed, Victor and the creature engaged in a deadly game of cat and mouse across Europe. Victor promised to create a female companion for the creature, hoping to quell its wrath. However, he ultimately destroyed the second creation out of fear of its potential for evil. This decision fueled the creature's anger further, leading to a catastrophic confrontation.

In the end, both creator and created faced tragic fates, highlighting themes of ambition, responsibility, and the consequences of playing God.
