Сделай по этому тексту 6 вопросов с переводом Firstly, an onion is a vegetable that grows in the ground and contains a lot of vitamins and minerals. Secondly, onions, like any other animal or plant, need to survive and reproduce. That's why they release some irritating chemicals to stop greedy plant eaters from eating their bulbs. We usually like to slice onions or dice them and add onions to our meals. So it has to defend itself. It makes your eyes water! The way the onion bulb is designed is very smart. Within each onion cell there is a glob (a kind of a ball) filled with some chemicals. When you cut or bite into an onion, a glob breaks and the chemicals go out. And it is not the strong smell of the onion that makes us cry. It is the gas that chemicals form when the onion cell is opened. So, now we know what the chemical is! However, I am not sure that helps very much when we have to peel or chop onions!
