Portfolio: Write a short paragraph about your favourite character in a book (90 words). Write: name; appearance; character; what is special about him/her.

My favorite character is Atticus Finch from Harper Lee's "To Kill a Mockingbird." Atticus is a tall, lean man with graying hair, wearing a pair of round glasses that accentuate his thoughtful eyes. He embodies integrity and moral courage, serving as a lawyer who defends an innocent Black man in a racially charged trial. What makes Atticus special is his unwavering commitment to justice and empathy, teaching his children the importance of understanding others. His profound sense of ethics and ability to stand up for what is right make him a timeless and inspiring figure.
