Dear Editor,
I am writing in response to a letter about an airport which appeared in your newspaper last Monday. Firstly, I completely agree with Mr. Black’s concerns regarding the substantial increase in both air and noise pollution that a new airport would inevitably bring to our city. Furthermore, the negative impact on the quality of life for residents living near the proposed site cannot be overlooked. These individuals would face constant disturbances, which could lead to stress and health issues. Finally, it is essential to consider that the new airport would increase traffic congestion, making daily commuting even more challenging for everyone in the area. Therefore, I strongly believe that building another airport is not in our best interest.
I will be interested in hearing other readers’ opinions on this question.
Yours faithfully,
[Your Name]
