My exams finished last week, and tomorrow the summer holidays start. Guess what! I'm going to take part in a triathlon. It's taking place in Hyde Park in London, and I'm already training for it. I run, swim or cycle every day. You need quite a lot of equipment. My parents bought me a really good bike and helmet for my birthday. I've already got a wetsuit, but I'll need to buy goggles and new running shoes before the race. It's quite a big event and I think there'll be a lot of spectators. Anyway, that's all for now. Dear Sam,
Thank you for your letter! I'm sorry I didn't write back earlier. My school year ended last week, and now I am on summer holiday.
Guess what! I am going to take part in a fun run. It will happen in the park near my house, and I am practicing for it. I run a little bit every day to get better.
I need some special things for the run. My parents bought me new running shoes, and I already have a t-shirt and shorts. I also want to use a water bottle during the race.
Many people will come to watch the fun run, and I am very excited!
