Do you write poetry? Write a poem in English, or translate a Russian poem into English and read it to the class.

Here’s an original poem I’ve written for you:

Whispers of Autumn

In the hush of fading light,
Leaves descend like whispers,
Gold and crimson take their flight,
Dance upon the briskened shivers.

Trees shed dreams of summer's glow,
As the earth dons a muted hue,
Nature’s palette begins to show,
A tender farewell, warm yet blue.

Cooler winds weave through the air,
Carrying secrets of the night,
Each breath, a story stripped bare,
In the fading day’s last light.

Hold this moment, soft and still,
As shadows stretch and blend,
In the heart, a gentle thrill,
For every end, a new begin.

If you would like a translation of a Russian poem into English, let me know which one you're interested in, and I'd be happy to assist!
