Kupalle, celebrated on the summer solstice (June 21), is a centuries-old pagan festival in modern Belarus that encompasses various rituals, beliefs, love, and magic. The celebration takes place overnight from July 6 to July 7, where participants engage in customs such as gathering herbs believed to possess magical properties, lighting symbolic fires, and performing purification rituals. Many of these traditions, including the preparation of special foods and searching for the mythical fern flower, are still observed today.
