As for your questions, I prefer to receive items as gifts. They often carry sentimental value. When I receive a gift I truly like, I make sure to express my gratitude with enthusiasm. However, if it’s something I don’t like, I try to appreciate the thought behind it and remain polite. The worst present I ever received was a novelty mug that I found quite cheesy – not really my style!
