It combines both comfort and speed and you will reach the place of destination very quickly. But if you are airsick the flight may seem not so nice to you. Unfortunately sometimes the flights are delayed because of unfavorable weather conditions. Travelling by air is the fastest and the most convenient way, but it is the most expensive too. Travelling by train is more interesting. With a train you have speed, comfort and pleasure combined. From the comfortable seat of a railway carriage you have a splendid view of the whole country-side. You can see interesting places of the country you are travelling through. Travelling by train is slower than by plane, but it has its advantages. You can see the country you are travelling through and enjoy the beautiful nature. It may be an express train or a passenger one. There is no doubt it's much more convenient to travel by an express train, because it does not stop at small stations and it takes you less time to get to your destination. Modern trains have very comfortable seats. There are also sleeping carriages and a dining- carriage which make even the longest journey enjoyable. If you are hungry, you can have a meal in the dining-car, and if a journey is a long one you can have a wonderful bed in a sleeper. Travelling by ship is also very popular now. A sea voyage is very enjoyable, indeed. It is very pleasant to feel the deck of the ship under the feet, to see the rise and fall of the waves, to feel the fresh sea wind blowing in the face and hear the cry of the seagulls. A very popular method of travelling is hiking. It is travelling on foot. Walking tours are very interesting. Hitch-hiking is a very popular method of travelling among young people. But it is not so popular in our country as abroad. Many people like to travel by car. The advantages of this way of spending your holiday are that you don't have to buy a ticket, you can stop wherever you wish, where there is something interesting to see. Also you do not have to buy tickets or carry your suitcases. And for this reason travelling by car is popular for pleasure trips while people usually take a train or a plane when they are travelling on business. Human beings are very inquisitive and like discovering different places. That is why people all over the world like to travel around the globe. It is not so interesting for them to see the world on TV today. It is precious to see it by their own. When you get tired of relaxation, you become home-sick and feel like returning home. You realize that "East or West - home is best", as the saying goes.
