Put the verb into the sentence and write the correct past perfect tense form

Чтобы правильно поставить глагол в форму прошедшего совершенного времени (Past Perfect Tense), нужно использовать конструкцию:

had + третья форма глагола (Past Participle).

1. Linda had gone when I arrived home.

   • Глагол: go → had gone

2. In fact, Felix had wanted to work.

   • Глагол: want → had wanted

3. My cat had eaten all the food when I gave it a drink.

   • Глагол: eat → had eaten

4. I had handed out the form before I submitted it to the office.

   • Глагол: hand out → had handed out

5. Uncle Jan had sold the car before he bought it.

   • Глагол: sell → had sold

6. By the time I arrived at the cinema, they had left.

   • Глагол: leave → had left

7. Kelly had passed the test when the teacher asked her to finish the test.

   • Глагол: pass → had passed

8. I had studied English before I went to England.

   • Глагол: study → had studied

9. The boys had played the ball when the teacher came in.

   • Глагол: play → had played

10. Before we ate the meals, I had sent the foods.

    • Глагол: send → had sent
