Привет! Давай вместе разберёмся с этим упражнением по английскому языку. Нам нужно правильно использовать to-infinitive после глаголов. Поехали!

  1. a) If you don't stop arguing all the time, I'll stop buying you sweets. b) They stopped to have lunch at a café and then went on driving.

  2. a) We regret to inform you that your design for a supermarket hasn't been chosen. b) I regret to tell him your secret.

  3. a) He didn’t mean to offend you. b) Organising a festival means doing a lot of different work.

  4. a) Eddy remembers going to the seaside with his parents when he was little. b) Did you remember to hand in your report yesterday?

  5. a) Leo hates doing the same things again and again. b) I hate to interrupt you, but this information isn’t accurate.

  6. a) My elder brother never forgets to walk with our dog. b) I forgot to put the keys into my pocket and went on looking for them everywhere.

  7. a) It was almost midnight and everyone was tired and sleepy, but our guest went on talking. b) Jack’s mother did the washing-up and went on to do the ironing.

  8. a) Margaret tried to unlock the door, but she wasn't able to do it. b) If you want to improve your memory, try to learn one more foreign language.

Всё достаточно просто, когда ты знаешь правило: после некоторых глаголов используется герундий (ing-форма), а после других – инфинитив (to + глагол). Надеюсь, это поможет тебе в изучении английского языка!
