The only name on the lists I didn't know, and I was going to put my name underneath hers! But then I realised that she had written her name on the list for the Poetry Club! The Poetry Club! I just couldn't believe it. Why did this have to happen to me? I was the last person in the whole universe who would have signed up for a club like this. I was useless at English! F ＿ When Brian came up to me and said, "Hi, Jonathan, are you up for a game of basketball after school?", I wasn't paying attention. I was only trying to read the names on the lists.
