Чтобы преобразовать прямую речь в косвенную (Reported Speech), нужно следовать нескольким правилам:
Изменение временных форм.
- Present Simple (подарку) обычно изменяется на Past Simple.
- Present Continuous (находится) изменяется на Past Continuous.
- Present Perfect (уже) изменяется на Past Perfect.
- Future Simple изменяется на Conditional (would).
Изменение местоимений.
- Примеры: «I» на «he/she», «you» на «me», «my» на «his/her» и т.д.
Изменение указательного местоимения.
- Например, «this» может изменяться на «that», а «today» на «that day», и так далее.
