My name is Max and I'm fifteen. I want to tell you about my experience of facing challenges. During the last summer, I achieved some of my goals which were quite hard to reach. First of all, I finally learned how to ride a horse. I had tried to learn how to do it a couple of times before, but I had always given up easily and felt depressed afterwards. Last summer I decided to be persistent and deal with it, and I succeeded! Unfortunately, I fell off the horse several times and once I even twisted my ankle badly.

Secondly, I started to attend dance classes. That was something that I had wanted to do for a really long time! At first, it was hard for me to focus on my movements and music at the same time, but then it got better. People from the classes tried to encourage me and gave me tips. Everyone was very friendly and supportive. Quite soon I felt that I’m not ashamed of dancing anymore! And finally, I made one of my dreams come true — I tried scuba diving. To tell the truth, I'm not a good swimmer, so it was a great challenge for me to go deep in the water. To my surprise, I felt extremely inspired when I faced my fear and dove underwater. As soon as I was beneath the water surface I didn't feel frightened at all. Overall, it was the best summer of my life! And I really am looking forward to the next one.
