Для выполнения этого задания необходимо перевести предложения из прямой речи в косвенную.

"Do you like your pies, Ann?" asked her grandmother.
- Her grandmother asked Ann if she liked her pies.
"Stop shouting and do your homework," her mother said to her.
- Her mother told her to stop shouting and do her homework.
"What did you do at school yesterday, John?" said his father.
- His father asked John what he had done at school the previous day.
"Will you play the piano today, Helen?" asked her aunt.
- Her aunt asked Helen if she would play the piano that day.
"We shall visit you next week," said the boys to their friend.
- The boys told their friend that they would visit him the following week.
"I have come to see you today," said Tom to his brother.
- Tom told his brother that he had come to see him that day.
The boy says, "The teacher wants us to do our homework by tomorrow."
- The boy says that the teacher wants them to do their homework by the next day.
"Bring me your books, Betsy," said her mother.
- Her mother told Betsy to bring her books.

The teacher said to the pupils, "Learn the poem by heart."
- The teacher told the pupils to learn the poem by heart.
"Who has given you this kitten?" said my friend to me.
- My friend asked me who had given me the kitten.
"Send me a telegram as soon as you arrive," he said to Jane.
- He asked Jane to send him a telegram as soon as she arrived.
