Dear Kate,
I’m so happy to hear about your new puppy! They can be such wonderful companions. Personally, I do think dogs are one of the best kinds of pets because they are loyal and loving. In my town, there are quite a few abandoned dogs, and it’s really sad to see them without a home.
If my parents surprised me with a puppy, I would be thrilled! I would take care of it by walking it daily, feeding it the right food, and playing with it to keep it happy and healthy. Having a puppy would definitely bring lots of joy into my life!
