Sure! Let's complete the text using the correct forms of the verbs provided in brackets.

The Lumiar schools in São Paulo, Brazil were set up by businessman Ricardo Semler. He has a company, Semco, which is known for making (make) and employees are encouraged to participate (participate) in important decisions about the company's future. His schools are similar because the students are also involved in deciding what they want to study (study). If a student thinks a subject is worth following (follow), then they are free to do (do) that. For example, if a student enjoys a certain type of music, they can learn about (about) its cultural origins.

Choosing (choose) your own lessons and subjects sounds fun, doesn’t it? But the schools weren’t set up just to give (give) students an enjoyable time. They must still take (take) all the national Brazilian exams and the students normally do well in these. The schools simply avoid teaching (teach) students basic facts like the capital city of a country because they know that students are able to identify (identify) this information from the internet in a couple of seconds.

I hope this helps you understand the usage of infinitive and -ing forms!
