My Summer Holidays
Last summer, I had an amazing time during my holidays. I visited my grandparents in the countryside. They live in a small village surrounded by beautiful nature.
Every morning, I woke up early and enjoyed the fresh air. I often went for a walk in the fields. One day, I discovered a small river, and I spent hours playing there. I swam and collected colorful stones from the riverbank.
In the afternoons, I helped my grandmother in the garden. We planted flowers and picked vegetables. It was fun to see how they grew over time. My grandfather taught me how to ride a bike, and we explored the village together. We visited many interesting places, such as an old church and a museum.
On some evenings, my family and I had barbecues in the backyard. We cooked delicious food and shared stories. I also read several books that I had wanted to finish for a long time.
At the end of my holidays, I felt relaxed and happy. I returned home with many wonderful memories. I really enjoyed my summer break!
Past Simple
