"34. 1) over 2) out 3) back 4) in   When I went to work this morning, my car broke down, so I had to take the bus. At the bus stop, I 30_____ into an old friend named Pete. He’d come into some money recently and was setting up a business. He offered to take me and I said I’d think it 31_____.  When I arrived at my workplace, my boss was furious. I offered to 32_____ up for being late, saying I would stay after work. Then it turned out she was actually angry because a client I had taken on had decided to pull out of a valuable contract. Mrs Pitchfork said that I had let the whole company 33_____.  She went on at me until I finally ran out of patience with her.
