Russia has lots of different kinds of landscapes. In the west, there are beautiful grassy plains. These plains are home to many animals like deer, bears, and wolves. Towards the east, you will find tall and steep mountains. These mountains are covered with snow and have big, deep valleys. The highest mountain in Russia is called Mount Elbrus.
