Посмотрим на смысл предложений и подберем модальные глаголы: can, have to, must, might, need, to, ought to. 1. "Sandra, please let me come to you tomorrow – I’ve done the job." (показано, что просьба) - **может быть** "can" или "could" 2. "It is not necessary to rewrite the essay completely – it’s quite good." (подчеркнуто отсутствие необходимости) - **подходит** "don’t have to" или "need not" 3. "Students pay for their education at private school." (факт, не требующий модальности) - **нужен** "must" 3.a "Students pay for their education at private school." (возможное дополнительное редактирование) - **подходит** "have to" или "must" 4. "I’m sure, be your career. You have the perfect voice." (возможность) - **может быть** "could" 5. "You not take pictures in this museum." (запрещение) - **подходит** "must not" или "cannot" 6. "If you Spanish, speak to them." (условие) - **нужен** "can" ### Задача 2: Образуй предложения с "used to" Формулировки следующие: 1. "When I was a child, I (ask) a lot of questions." - **было** "used to ask" 2. "Sue always (not go) to school by car." - **подходит** "didn’t use to go" 3. "Our life (be) very noisy 5 years ago." - **было** "used to be" 4. "She’s been in Britain for three months and she (drive) alone." - **подходит** "used to drive" 5. "Mike (do) his homework to music." - **подходит** "used to do" ### Задача 3: Пассивный залог Переделайте предложения в пассивный залог: 1. "They cancelled the flight." - **было** "The flight was cancelled." 2. "My manager offered me the job." - **подходит** "I was offered the job by my manager." 3. "She has always liked exotic fruit." - **может быть** "Exotic fruit has always been liked by her." 4. "Many kids in the West collect cucumbers and fresh parsley." - **подходит** "Cucumbers and fresh parsley are collected by many kids in the West." 5.
