Comment on one of the following statements. A man doesn't become stronger with the development of science and technology. People create a variety of substances and systems from which they suffer. Computers are a blessing that modern societies possess. The development of science and technology leads mankind to destruction. Modern science and all sorts of technology change the world but don't change our-selves. Write 200-250 words. Use the following plan: make an introduction to state the problem; express your personal opinion and give and give 2-3 reasons for your opinion; express an opposing opinion and give 1-2 reasons for the opposing opinion; explain why you don't agree with the opposing opinion; make a conclusion restating your position.

The rapid development of science and technology has significantly transformed the world we live in. However, there is an ongoing debate about whether these advancements truly benefit humanity or if they pose a threat to our well-being.

In my opinion, science and technology generally make our lives better. First, they improve our quality of life by enabling medical innovations that save lives and extend longevity. For example, vaccines and advanced treatments have eradicated many diseases. Second, technology accelerates communication and access to information, fostering greater understanding and global cooperation. Third, technological progress leads to economic growth and job creation, helping to reduce poverty and improve living standards worldwide.

On the other hand, some argue that science and technology can be harmful. They believe that technological development creates substances and systems that cause suffering, such as pollutants or weapons. Additionally, critics say that reliance on technology makes humans more passive and less connected to nature, leading to environmental and social issues.

I do not agree entirely with the opposing view because, despite these problems, the benefits of science and technology largely outweigh the negatives. We have the power to control and regulate technological innovations to minimize harm, and their positive impacts on health, communication, and economy are undeniable.

In conclusion, I believe that science and technology are essential tools for progress. While they pose certain risks, their overall contribution to human development is immense, and we should focus on using them responsibly to ensure a better future.
