  1. to go — глагол "go" используется после "My friends and I" в прошедшем времени (past simple).

  3. know — "not everyone" подразумевает настоящее время, поэтому глагол в форме "know".
    Правильный ответ: know

Past Simple.
    Правильный ответ: began

  5. not/mind — выражение "She did not mind" (её не заботило).
    Правильный ответ: not/mind

    Правильный ответ: was

  7. be — глагол "over the stage there were boxes", значит "was" (singular).
    Правильный ответ: were

    Правильный ответ: its

  10. had — действие в прошлом ("since then").

  13. woke — действие в прошлом, прошедшее время ("spent a lot of time ... woke us up").
    Правильный ответ: woke

  14. did not ask — прошедшая форма (Past Simple) от "not ask".
    Правильный ответ: did not ask

  15. was — прошедшее время от "it was cold".
    Правильный ответ: was

Past Continuous.
