Классная задача на разговорную практику. Так как цель не указана, дам подробное объяснение и готовые образцы диалогов по каждому пункту. Можно использовать в паре: один человек задаёт вопросы, другой отвечает, затем меняются ролями.

Как работать по задаче (пошагово)

1. Выберите тему из списка: hotels, swimming pool, shopping centre, airport, parks.
2. Используйте конструкции Is there a …? или Are there any …? в зависимости от единственного/множественного числа и из условий задачи.
   • Для вопросов во множественном числе: Are there any hotels? (есть ли какие‑то отели?)
   • Для вопроса об одном объекте: Is there a swimming pool? / Is there an airport?
3. Ответьте, используя there is/there are и подходящий ответ: Yes, there is / Yes, there are. или No, there isn’t / No, there aren’t.
4. Затем спросите другой вопрос с использованием указанных прилагательных/существительных:
   • hotels — cheap / expensive
   • swimming pool — public / private
   • shopping centre — small / large
   • airport — inside / outside town
   • parks — busy / quiet
5. Приведите пример продолжения: “There’s/There are … and …” или “There’s an expensive hotel and a cheap one” и т. д. В конце можно добавить ещё один вопрос, например: “What’s the best place to stay near the centre?” (по желанию).

• Extension: A: Is it inside or outside town?
• B: It’s inside the town, near the sports centre.

3. a shopping centre? (small / large)

• A: Is there a shopping centre in town?
• B: Yes, there is.
• A: Is it small or large?
• B: It’s large.
• Extension: A: Are there many shops?
• B: Yes, there are many shops and a cinema.

4. an airport? (inside / outside town)

• A: Is there an airport in town?
• B: Not in the town itself, there isn’t.
• A: Is it inside or outside town?
• B: It’s outside the town.
• Extension: A: How far is it from here?
• B: About 30 minutes by car.

5. parks? (busy / quiet)

• A: Are there any parks?
• B: Yes, there are.
• A: Are they busy or quiet?
• B: They’re usually quiet, especially in the mornings.
• Extension: A: Do you know a quiet park nearby?
• B: Yes, the one near the river is quite peaceful.

Советы по языку и грамматике

• There is vs There are:
  • There is a hotel (один отель) / There are hotels (несколько отелей)
  • There is a swimming pool / There are swimming pools
• Is there a …? vs Are there any …?:
  • Is there a park near you?
  • Are there any parks near you? (используется, когда речь идёт о неопределённом количестве)
• Прилагательные в вопросах подходят по смыслу:
  • cheap / expensive
  • public / private
  • small / large
  • inside / outside town
  • busy / quiet
• В ответах можно использовать варианты:
  • Yes, there is. / Yes, there are.
  • No, there isn’t. / No, there aren’t.
  • There’s an expensive hotel and a cheap one. / There are expensive hotels and cheap hotels.

Быстрый план практики

• Разделите на пары. Один человек задаёт вопросы по каждому пункту, второй отвечает и добавляет детали.
• Меняйтесь ролями после 2–3 вопросов.
• В конце можно составить мини-диалог об одном месте, используя все три элемента: Is there a …? / Are there any …? + каково это по признакам (cheap/expensive, public/private, etc.).
