Вот заполнение задания №6. Я поясню логику выбора слов и приведу готовые предложения.

Логика выбора слов:

• 1: сочетание "engaged to be married" значит помолвлена: выбраны слова engaged и married.
• 2: "Separated from her husband" — разошлись; здесь лучше подходит separated.
• 3: чтобы говорить о родителе-одиночке — single.
• 4: "didn’t get on well" строится с get, а второй пробел — "get divorced".
• 5: женщина-одна вдова — widow.
• 6: человек воспитывается приемных родителях — foster parents.
• 7: родители мужа → in-laws.
• 8: мать умерла, отец женится на другой женщине; новая жена — stepmother.

2. When she separated from her husband, she moved to her parents’ house.
3. It’s difficult to be a single parent.
