This summer vacation was full of small adventures and new experiences. I spent time with my family, explored nature, and read many books. It made me feel curious, calm, and happy.

We spent a week in the countryside. I helped my grandmother in the garden, watered plants, and learned the names of many flowers. In the evenings we walked by a quiet pond and watched fireflies. We rode bicycles on winding paths and had picnics under tall trees.

Back home, I joined a library program and borrowed several books. I practiced drawing and painted beach scenes and forest landscapes. I learned to ride a bike without training wheels and improved my swimming at the community pool. I also helped make meals, learning two new recipes.
