What are the reasons of quitting school? How do schools find talented students? Why were schools created? A. Getting an education is a route to progress. It is a gradual process that brings about significant positive changes in the behaviour and life of a person. When children go to school, they have to learn many subjects. The school helps a child to decide which subjects they like. It helps them understand their skills and capabilities better. Schooling greatly helps a child in mastering a particular skill. Learning, growing, and constant practice help build confidence in a child. B. At language learning school programs, every second of your time is spent speaking, listening, and living the language you are trying to learn. Your classes are taught entirely in the native language of your host country. That means no cheating! Your local professors will speak the language in your classroom, your assignments will all be in the language of your host country, and you’ll be expected to speak to your classmates only using the language you’re learning. C. Homeschooling is the education of children at home. This education is usually done by parents or tutors. Some parents feel that they can give a better education for their children at home than they would receive in a traditional school setting. Others feel that homeschooling allows them to have more control over their children's education. This means they can tailor lessons to suit their child’s individual needs and interests. D. Many schools around the world offer gifted programs for students. These children usually take several tests as a way to identify their higher intelligence, unique creativity, or other talents. The goal of gifted school programs is to give students an opportunity to reach their full potential. These programs can help students to develop their talents and abilities, to challenge themselves academically, and to make connections with other gifted students. E. Students have their own interests to achieve in life. Someone wants to become doctors, engineers, while others want to become writers, singers, etc. In this case, school curriculum hardly serves the true purpose of educating people. Some subjects that are completely unnecessary for someone but it may be useful for other students. Everyone should follow the same coursebook whether it interests them or not. F. In fact, education dates back to the very first humans ever to inhabit Earth. To survive every generation has found it necessary to pass on its accumulated knowledge, skills, values, and traditions to the next generation. Rather than every family being individually responsible for education, people soon figured out that it would be easier and more efficient to have a small group of adults teach a larger group of children.
