Thank you for your lovely letter. It’s exciting that you started a historic novel. I read about 12–15 books a year, depending on homework.

I like thrillers and historical fiction too. I enjoy stories with adventurous plots, interesting settings, and characters I care about. They help me imagine different times and learn new words.

In Literature lessons we usually read aloud, discuss the plot, characters, and themes, and then write short essays or letters about the books. We sometimes do group projects and present our ideas to the class.
