The Leaning Tower of Pisa in Italy was built as the city's bell tower. However, the architects at the time weren't experienced enough. Therefore, it was built on soft ground, and as soon as it was completed, it began to slowly lean. Over the years, there have been many attempts to stop the tower's tilt. At one point, people removed stones from the bottom to install strong metal rods, but the stones removed were part of the foundation, causing the tower to lean even further!
