You have received a letter from your English-speaking friend, Jerome. I've recently started Spanish classes. It's going great! Are you studying a foreign language at the moment? Do you think it's better to study a language in a classroom with other students or at home with a tutor? If you had the chance to live abroad for two years in order to learn the country's language where would you go? Write him a letter and answer his 3 questions. Write 100-120 words. Remember the rules of letter writing

Dear Jerome,

Yes, I'm studying Spanish at the moment and enjoying it. It’s challenging but fun.

As for learning methods, both have merits. A classroom with other students gives regular practice, quick feedback, and motivation from peers. A tutor at home offers personalized pacing, custom explanations, and flexible schedules. I think the best approach is a mix: structured lessons plus a bit of private practice. I also enjoy listening to podcasts and trying to speak every day with friends.

If I could live abroad for two years to learn the language, I would go to Spain. Immersion, daily life in Spanish, and regional varieties would accelerate speaking naturally.

Best wishes, Alex
