Last summer, I was staying at my grandparents’ house in the countryside with my cousin. One evening, we heard quiet footsteps in the attic, although everyone was downstairs. We went up to investigate and saw an old rocking chair moving by itself. Suddenly, the window opened, and a cold wind blew out the candle. We ran downstairs and told my grandparents, but they only laughed. Later, we discovered a small cat hiding behind a box: it had probably pushed the chair and opened the window. At first I felt terrified, but then I was very relieved and amused.
