Last summer, I was walking home from the park with my friend Ben when we saw a small blue light in the sky. It suddenly came down and stopped above an empty house. Then all the windows lit up, although nobody lived there. We heard quiet music and a dog barking inside. We were frightened, but we decided to look through the gate. Suddenly, the light disappeared and the house became dark again. We ran home quickly. I still do not know what happened, but it was the strangest evening of my life.

A More Realistic Story
Last Saturday, I was walking home from the park with my friend Ben. It suddenly started to rain, so we decided to take a shortcut through a quiet street. Near an old house, we heard a dog barking. We looked through the gate and saw a small puppy stuck under the fence. It was scared and couldn’t get out.
Ben called the phone number on the dog’s collar, while I carefully helped the puppy get free. A few minutes later, a worried woman came running down the street. She thanked us and took the puppy home. We got completely wet, but we were happy because we had helped someone.
