Как понять правило

• Present Simple употребляется для постоянного признака, мнения, владения или состояния:
  She thinks Shakira is great. — Она считает, что Шакира великолепна.

• Present Continuous употребляется для действия, происходящего сейчас, временного состояния или запланированного события:
  She is thinking of buying an album. — Она обдумывает покупку альбома.

• Present Perfect показывает результат, опыт или состояние:
  Sam has lost his key. — Сэм потерял ключ, и сейчас не может войти.

• Present Perfect Continuous подчёркивает длительность действия:
  I have been listening to music all afternoon. — Я слушаю музыку весь день.

• for означает период времени: for four hours, for six years.
