Dear Lucy,

Thank you for your letter. It was interesting to learn about your favourite books. I enjoy reading too. My favourite genres are adventure stories and fantasy. Sometimes I read detective stories because I like solving mysteries. My favourite writer is J. K. Rowling. I love her Harry Potter books because they are exciting and magical. My friends have different tastes in reading. Some of them enjoy science fiction and fantasy, while others prefer detective stories. My best friend likes funny stories and comics. We often talk about books and recommend them to each other. What book are you reading now? Do you visit libraries?

Write back soon.

Best wishes,
