  • Before another noun, a compound adjective is hyphenated, and the measurement word stays singular:
    a two-hour flight, a ten-pound note, a five-star hotel.
  • When we simply say how many, use the plural:
two hours, 60 minutes, five days.
  • Age expressions:
    She is six years old.
    a six-year-old daughter.

Check: in 80.2 all 18 words from the list are used exactly once.
