Peter Jackson was born in 1961 in Wellington, New Zealand. He is a famous film director, screenwriter and producer. When he was a child, he liked making short films with a camera.

Peter Jackson became world-famous after directing The Lord of the Rings trilogy. The films are based on the books by the English writer J. R. R. Tolkien. He also directed The Hobbit trilogy and the film King Kong.
