Нейросеть

Вот сокращённый пересказ на английском.

1. Remembrance Day

Every year, people in Britain wear a red paper poppy during the week before 11 November. It commemorates Remembrance Day, or Poppy Day, and honours the millions of people who died for their country. The date is connected with the end of World War I, which happened at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918.

2. The poppy

The poppy is the symbol of Remembrance Day because poppies were the only flowers that grew on the battlefields after World War I. Their bright red colour reminds people of blood, and they are mentioned in many poems about the war. One famous poem is In Flanders Fields.

3. Remembrance Sunday

Memorial services are held across Britain on the second Sunday in November, known as Remembrance Sunday. At the Cenotaph in London, the Royal Family and top politicians attend a special service, while war veterans lay wreaths. At 11 a.m., a lone soldier plays The Last Post on a bugle, followed by two minutes of silence. The Rouse marks the end of the silence, and traditional wartime songs are also played.
