Dear Emma,
How are you? I’m writing to invite you to my birthday party next Saturday, 18 May. It will take place at my house, and the party will start at 5 p.m. I’m planning a small barbecue in the garden, some fun games, music and a birthday cake. A few classmates and our best friends will come, so it should be really exciting.
Could you bring your favourite board game? I’m sure everyone will enjoy playing it. If the weather is bad, we’ll have the party inside and watch a film together. Please let me know by Wednesday whether you can come. I really hope you’ll be able to join us! You can stay overnight if your parents agree.
