My lucky day
Last Saturday started badly. I woke up late and missed the bus to the city centre. However, when I finally arrived, I found a small wallet on the pavement. There was some money and an ID card inside, so I took it to the police station. The owner, an elderly man, came there half an hour later. He was extremely grateful and invited me to a café. While we were talking, he noticed my favourite football team on my T-shirt. It turned out that he had two spare tickets for the team’s match that evening! He gave them to me. I watched the game with my best friend, and our team won. What a lucky day!
