• She ate eggs and toast for breakfast yesterday.
• She saw a dog and a bus in the street.
• She met her neighbour in the street.

Здесь можно заменить Anna, еду, предметы и человека на настоящие ответы родителей или друзей.

Как выбрать формы

• yesterday, last January, two days ago — прошедшее время: went, decided, did, met;
• often, always, sometimes — настоящее время: go, does, has;
• после didn’t используется начальная форма глагола: didn’t see, а не didn’t saw;
• soon указывает на планируемое будущее: is going to visit;
• в вопросе о прошлом: Was he there?

Проверка: все формы согласуются с указателями времени, а после didn’t стоит правильная начальная форма see.
