My motherland is a country in the heart of Europe. Its area is almost as large as that of the UK, but its landscape is different. Like in your country, it is also varied.
Sometimes it is called a “blue-eyed land”. Lakes attract people and animals to their grassy or snowy shores. Rivers, fast and slow, wide and narrow, take their waters to the Baltic and Black Seas. Two thirds of its territory is covered with forests.
It’s an island of strength and depth of love, hospitality and kindness in the sea of strong emotions.
