Пересказ (8 предложений)

In Scotland, New Year’s Eve is called Hogmanay, which means “new morning” in Celtic.
It is considered one of the most exciting celebrations of the year.
On 31 December, people clean their houses, get rid of old things and bake shortbread biscuits and a rich fruit cake called Black Bun.
They share these traditional treats with their family and friends.
In the evening, Scottish towns have live concerts, colourful carnivals and, in some places, torchlight processions.
At midnight, people kiss, wish each other a Happy New Year, sing “Auld Lang Syne” and watch a spectacular fireworks display.
On 1 January, they visit friends and neighbours to wish them good luck.
Hogmanay makes people happy and gives them hope for a successful year.
