The European bison is the national symbol of Belarus. It is an endangered animal, so people protect it in nature reserves and national parks. Belarusian forests are also home to deer, elk, wild boars, beavers, foxes and many birds.

Pripyatsky National Park is famous for its rich nature. You can see about 300 species of moss there. There are no dangerous snakes in Belarus, but we must always be careful and respect wild animals.
