Как образуются степени сравнения

• Короткие прилагательные: -er / -est
  tall — taller — the tallest
• Длинные прилагательные: more / the most
  beautiful — more beautiful — the most beautiful
• Если слово оканчивается на согласную + y, то y → i:
  happy — happier — the happiest
• В некоторых словах меняется корень:
  good — better — the best,
  bad — worse — the worst
• В превосходной степени перед прилагательным обычно ставится the.
