Военный коммунизм

The term "военный коммунизм" (military communism) refers to the economic and political system implemented in the early years of the Soviet Union. It was characterized by the nationalization of industry and agriculture, central control of the economy, and strict discipline within the armed forces. This system was intended to ensure the survival of the new Bolshevik government during the Russian Civil War.
