Краткий ответ
DISCUSS — пример ответа (5 советов, которых нет в тексте):
I would give a foreigner these tips. When you meet an older person, use their first name and patronymic and the polite form “vy”. A man should wait for a woman to offer her hand first. Don’t shake hands over the threshold of a door — it is considered bad luck. Don’t whistle indoors: Russians believe it brings bad luck. If you want to give a knife as a present, give a coin with it.
ACTIVITY — пример короткой статьи:
At the Table
When you are invited to a Russian home for dinner, wait for the host to say “Приятного аппетита” (“Enjoy your meal”) or to invite you to start. Don’t put your elbows on the table, and don’t talk with your mouth full. It is polite to try a little of everything, but you don’t have to finish your plate.
If you want to leave the table early, ask the host politely. When you finish, thank the host and offer to help with the dishes. These small things show good manners and respect for your host.
